The Gamester

The Gamester is a gamer who dared to cross the limits. Not the limits of games, nor the ones of real life, but the limits of understanding how things in the gaming industry work. And where they lead to.

The Gamester is a weapon of mass-creation. It is the word that underlines what’s wrong and states what’s right. And righteousness in games can only be defined in one way only: by the gamers. They played, they liked or disliked, they want, they request, and most of all they criticize and buy.

The Gamester listens to the players. It takes from the poor, and gives to the rich. Not gold, but something better: ideas that die, because they lack financial, logistical, marketing support to grow.

The Gamester states that good games benefit all of us. They make our hard day nicer and often put a smile or a drop of adrenaline in many ordinary lives. They make the common man a hero and give him the power to do something that matters. Even if only in a virtual world. It’s better to dare in a simulated environment than never to dare at all.
